Kal's Birthday

My Best Friend's son turned 5 today.  It seem like just yesterday, he crawled/walked in on me peeing on my pregnancy test.  hahahaha  I'm sure he'll enjoy that story later.

Cooper, Parker and I went to the Party early (because Cooper's nap is around 2), we were the last ones to leave.  He didn't take a nap, he had frosting for lunch and enjoyed playing!  He pee'd in the potty there and after some compromise, finally ate a pb&j sandwich.   Parker, took a small nap in the beginning, and then was a disaster after she woke up.  Poor thing was soo gassy.  She spit up/threw up on almost everyone that held her.  Emily the most though, she likes her. haha

Botanical Gardens

Yesterday we went to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and I took pictures of the kids.  I bumped into one of the volunteers from the Zoo and chit chatted with her for a while.  Cooper was his normal shy self, when she tried to talk to him.  I wonder when he'll get over that.

Here are some of the better pictures.  I should have taken some of Cooper giving her kisses, oh well... we'll have more time for that.  :)

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Calera Railroad Museum yesterday (an hour before normal nap time) & it went really well.

Cooper sat with daddy and loved looking out the window while the train went. Right when we got off the train be said he wanted to play in the sand, we told him we needed to get pumpkins first.

We picked out two pumpkins and then sand playing time is was. He played in the sand the while time we were there (I nursed in the passenger car), there were dumptrucks and tractors, what did we expect?

Great time! He had a nap at 4:30-6:15 and then headed to bed at 10... He didn't end up asleep til like 11:30. Yikes! But we don't have MDO tomorrow, so it's ok.

Pumpkin Patch Express

Today we are going to Calera to ride the train to the Pumpkin patch.

The kids are going to wear their matching Train Shirts. It's a chilly day, so long slews underneath.

This will be the first time Cooper has one to the train, he's pretty exited already. He fell asleep pretty fast night and was so good, so we could go for sure. He had to be a good boy.

Lack o Sleep

Well last night was a rough night of sleep or lack of sleep.

I didn't fall asleep til midnight-ish, then kept waking up every 20 minutes or so. I couldn't get comfortable. Ended up coming out to the couch around 2-3am, tossed and turned for a while, then woke up at 6. Thank Goodness, some sleep was helpful. I even thought of going into Coopers room to sleep. I always feel like I can fall asleep when put him to bed. Ha

Wish me luck from now and baby comes, under 2 months tile due date, so that would be a lot of sleepless nights.

Cooper and I went to a bookstore last night and got a box set of Caillou books to start reading at night. I am trying to phase out watching YouTube videos to go to bed. We phased out one video, so that is progress.



Blowing bubbles yesterday in the pool before naptime... No diaper due to impromptu pool playing.
