10 Months Old!
Cooper is 10 months old. Crazy! I am planning his 1 year birthday party. It is going to have a Halloween Theme and I ordered his costume yesterday! It is adorable!
We celebrated his 10month by me throwing out the 1st pitch at a Baron's Baseball Game last night. There were maybe 70 people in the stands, lol, but a lot of people in the banquet rooms. So, I wasn't really nervous.
I am thinking I am going to put Cooper back in Mothers Day Out and start getting our house back in order and super super organized! I also have some schooling to get to, so that time would be nice.
Cooper is going to stay with one of his grandma's during the Alabama Game this Saturday, it is going to be an overnight. Let's hope he sleeps through the night, but we are going to tell her, if he gets up to call us and we will come get him.

Sick ? Baby
Cooper's naps have been horrible since we got up here. I thought he was teething, but maybe he is sick... 20-45 minutes naps compared to 2 hours...
He was really sweet with his Uncle Will today... he was playing peek a boo... it was the sweetest thing. I even think that Will thought so.

News Flash
So, Cooper has been walking for over a week now. He started climbing the bookshelf yesterday...yikes!
I contacted a friend of mine to take Cooper's 1 year pictures and also take some Holiday pictures of the family. So, that should be fun!!!!
I am working on finding about 10-15 pictures of Cooper to frame around the house, etc. Feel free to tell me your suggestions...
We will be going to my 10yr High School reunion soon...I am excited to see all those familiar faces from Oh so long ago! So, many of them had babies this year...crazy. So, there will not be a lack of babies for Cooper to play with while we are there.
I got an Iphone.....finally! So I am officially an AT&T girl. Stephen and I took the plunge and are on the family plan, next get married. hahahaha
We have been at a friends lake house a few times this summer, David's 1yr Birthday Party, Michigan, but it doesn't seem like the summer should be already over. Or that my friends should be going to back to teach this early. The south is crazy! School the first week of August......wow!! The school bells behind my house now make sense that they are ringing. They rang all summer, so no reason.
This past weekend we were at the lake, I wakeboarded on the last day. On my last time up, I fell and I fell hard. I suffered from a mild concussion...yikes. Didn't realize that is what happened until later that day. I blacked out, thought I was going to vomit, was super sleepy, dizzy, besides the obvious head pounding. I did tough it out and let Stephen go wake boarding for a bit... Definately not the worst thing that could have happened. And I had a fun weekend.
I am in the process of making a diaper cake for someone... it is fun. It was pretty easy too... as long as you have all the supplies right there in front of you.
I am getting excited for Football Season to start. I am also getting excited for our basement to be done and friends can come over and hang out down there. They could even stay and feel comfortable.
Well, I am going to get going before Cooper wakes up!

Looking out over his crib...strong!
I went into get Cooper after his 2nd nap of the day, yesterday, and I could see his head and his shoulders over the crib. hmmmm... I was like.....are you standing up? He must have pulled himself up. He was at the end of the crib, his hands were hanging on the edge of the crib, holding himself up and he was I guess "standing" on his knees. My strong little boy, pulled himself up to look for mommy to come get him. He wasn't crying, he was just looking around at his room.

He is getting so big!!!
These were last week. It's cute, when he wants something...he goes and gets it! mmm I love him!
He I think likes sitting up, when he falls over... it is now onto his arms and not his face. hahaha
It is so exciting to see how he is changing. I am so proud of him. We are on day #4 of the CIT method for naps. He has been doing that for going to sleep at night for a few weeks now. But during the day is so much harder for me... cause, I put him down and he immediately starts crying. But it normally he takes him about 20 minutes to fall asleep.
We went over to a friends house to do some scrapbooking and he went to sleep on his own in their pack n play. Although, I am pretty sure he woke up other babies, with his crying. But I was proud that he was able to go to sleep somewhere other than home in his crib. I was also proud of myself for not staring at a monitor while he went to sleep. I checked on him a few times. But I did get more scrapbooking done than I thought I would. :)
I like this picture because it is a very active picture. hahaha.. and all the facial expressions are priceless.

4 months old...
Well Cooper weighs 15lbs 4.3oz today and he is 25 3/4inches in length.
He has been inch wormer all over the place... he used to roll over a lot, but now he realizes he has arms and they are his blockers.
He really likes laying on his belly now and for longer periods of time, which also helps release all the GAS trapped in his belly (and entertains mommy).
We started having more frequent naked playing time and he LOVES that. He pees all over the place... hahaha
The doctor said we can start Cooper on Rice Cereal and I told Daddy we were going to start that maybe this afternoon... there was silence. I said we will start tonight (so he can feed him, too). The doctor said that a tablespoon of rice cereal can take about 20 bite... this should be fun.
He had 4 shots today, he was so tired...he was crying and then shots...yikes. He feel asleep once I got him back inside from the car and has been asleep since. He normally eats every 2-2 1/2 hours.. but we are going to try and phase into every 3hours now...
oh and he is also up... so I will continue this later...

New Tricks...
4 Generation Picture
Cooper taught himself a few tricks while at Grandma Weyland's House. He can make his own bubbles and inch around by sticking his butt up in the air while on his belly (both of which are super cute)
I came home, folded some clothes. Tomorrow I will hopefully get a stroller walk in and put those clothes away.
Had a great time visiting but wished Stephen were with us. Hope he had fun and a relaxing weekend.

Going on a stroll
Well last night I went out with the ladies in my neighborhood. We went and saw It's Complicated. I liked it, great great casting.
Anyways, I start back working in February. I guess that would be next Wednesday, whoa.

So... today has been a pretty productive day.
Cooper and I went to Target & World Market, then we went by Mommy's new work place. I am going to start back doing Massages at Haven in the Heights. Super excited.
Came home, steam cleaned part of the couch, made beef stew from scratch and it is simmering away, did a few loads of laundry (haven't folded them yet, blahhhhhhh), contacted a clothing company to possibly be a rep or host a party, packaged up a few things for dana and then for mya. took pictures of Baby Cooper...
Cooper pooped today.........sweeeeeeeet. hahaha Oh the joys of being a mom. Hey now, you would get excited too if you hadn't pooped in 2 days. That is right.
Well hopefully this video won't take too long... but it is worth it. :)

Some updates...
I suck my thumb now....but I'm not doing it all the time.
My head is getting huge....it took some effort to get through here! So my mommy and daddy distracted me with a good ole game of peek a boo.

Great night of sleep.
So I fed Cooper last night around 10:20, put him to sleep at around 10:45p...he woke up at 6:20a
I am not going to get used to that, but it was nice. I will tell you that I woke up a few times to check on him... yep, he was breathing. I got him up, fed him and put him to sleep. He slept for maybe an hour. Daddy got up, changed his diaper and brought him to bed. He was not interested in going back to bed. He hung out with Daddy while I went back to bed. I am super tired. I think that Cooper gave me his cold or I never really got over mine. Cause I feel crappy.
Anyways, our trip was fun. Alabama won of course and Cooper had a great time with Grammy and Grandpa Bolt. I bet they are enjoying their sleep now.
Cooper and I may get out today to run some errands. Grocery store, dry cleaners and make an exchange at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Not sure. He is taking his nap now and when he wakes up, he'll eat and I'll decide then. if not, we'll atleast go for a walk...maybe :)

MISSING MY BABY ALREADY!
Leaving my sweet boy for the first time today, until Saturday. I am gonna miss him so much... as will his milk supply...aka my breasts. I now own a handheld battery operated pump. I used it this morning and it is a lot slower and has less power than my regular pump but it will work (hopefully).
I LOVE YOU COOPER. HAVE FUN WITH YOUR GRANDPARENTS........be good and fun for them.
We are at the airport and ready to go. Unfortunately the movie I rented for the flight had to be re downloaded and it won't be ready for the flight.........grrrrrrrrr....
But I brought about 5 Parents magazines and have alot of podcasts..........and Stephen to talk to :)

Happy New Year
Well 2010 has come and Cooper finally took a poop today! Oh and from what I just heard my have again. :) So those diapers that Auntie Sharon got us and the ones we brought back from Michigan from Gma & Gpa Smoot will not go to waste.
This is a picture of all of Cooper's Christmas Gifts. YIKES...he is one lucky baby boy. I now realize how great my older brother probably had it. I remember telling Stephen about how I couldn't find a shirt or bib that said mommy AND daddy love me. They would only say mommy loves me or daddy loves me. My stepmom found them!!!!!!!!! AWESOME... so Coopie has about 5 outfits that say...hey both parents love me, not just one.
My stepsister got him that taggie blanket and carseat attachment (with all the things for him to look at). I honestly have been looking for the taggie blanket since I was like 7 months prego. SO.. THANK YOU.
Cooper got a ton of awesome books. He even got some homemade stuff. His great grandmother, Mildred made him that blue hooded sweater...ps she is 97 on the 14th of this month. My stepmom's mother made him this beautifully colorful quilt.
Tons of toys and a cds of funny music. Fun rattling socks!! LOTS OF CLOTHES. Mostly he enjoyed getting to see his relatives.
