My how they all have changed... so big but still adorable!

News Flash

So, Cooper has been walking for over a week now. He started climbing the bookshelf yesterday...yikes!

I contacted a friend of mine to take Cooper's 1 year pictures and also take some Holiday pictures of the family. So, that should be fun!!!!

I am working on finding about 10-15 pictures of Cooper to frame around the house, etc. Feel free to tell me your suggestions...

We will be going to my 10yr High School reunion soon...I am excited to see all those familiar faces from Oh so long ago! So, many of them had babies this year...crazy. So, there will not be a lack of babies for Cooper to play with while we are there.

I got an Iphone.....finally! So I am officially an AT&T girl. Stephen and I took the plunge and are on the family plan, next get married. hahahaha

We have been at a friends lake house a few times this summer, David's 1yr Birthday Party, Michigan, but it doesn't seem like the summer should be already over. Or that my friends should be going to back to teach this early. The south is crazy! School the first week of August......wow!! The school bells behind my house now make sense that they are ringing. They rang all summer, so no reason.

This past weekend we were at the lake, I wakeboarded on the last day. On my last time up, I fell and I fell hard. I suffered from a mild concussion...yikes. Didn't realize that is what happened until later that day. I blacked out, thought I was going to vomit, was super sleepy, dizzy, besides the obvious head pounding. I did tough it out and let Stephen go wake boarding for a bit... Definately not the worst thing that could have happened. And I had a fun weekend.

I am in the process of making a diaper cake for someone... it is fun. It was pretty easy too... as long as you have all the supplies right there in front of you.

I am getting excited for Football Season to start. I am also getting excited for our basement to be done and friends can come over and hang out down there. They could even stay and feel comfortable.

Well, I am going to get going before Cooper wakes up!

Spaced out

Looking out over his crib...strong!

I went into get Cooper after his 2nd nap of the day, yesterday, and I could see his head and his shoulders over the crib. hmmmm... I was like.....are you standing up? He must have pulled himself up. He was at the end of the crib, his hands were hanging on the edge of the crib, holding himself up and he was I guess "standing" on his knees. My strong little boy, pulled himself up to look for mommy to come get him. He wasn't crying, he was just looking around at his room.

He is getting so big!!!

These were last week. It's cute, when he wants something...he goes and gets it! mmm I love him!

He I think likes sitting up, when he falls over... it is now onto his arms and not his face. hahaha


It is so exciting to see how he is changing. I am so proud of him. We are on day #4 of the CIT method for naps. He has been doing that for going to sleep at night for a few weeks now. But during the day is so much harder for me... cause, I put him down and he immediately starts crying. But it normally he takes him about 20 minutes to fall asleep.

We went over to a friends house to do some scrapbooking and he went to sleep on his own in their pack n play. Although, I am pretty sure he woke up other babies, with his crying. But I was proud that he was able to go to sleep somewhere other than home in his crib. I was also proud of myself for not staring at a monitor while he went to sleep. I checked on him a few times. But I did get more scrapbooking done than I thought I would. :)
